Our Football and Cheer program is run completely, and relies on, volunteers in our community. We are actively seeking members to assist our program for the 2014 Season.
We are currently seeking volunteers to feel the below open positions.

All of the below positions will automatically fulfill your parent volunteer requirements for the entire season.
- Position Description:
- Preside over all meetings of members of the Booster Club. Compose the agenda for all monthly meetings Recruitment/selection of Board Members and Committees and supervise the functions of set members and committees See that elections are held in accordance with the By-Laws Oversee maintenance and compliance of By-Laws Shall appoint any temporary committees as he/she deems necessary to carry out the objectives of the Club Present or appoint presenter for various functions as needed Signer on Bank Account
- Position Description:
- Parent Liaison Director responsibilities include but are not limited to:
This person oversees all Parent Liaison’s and Team Managers in the Cheerleading Division, works with the Parent Liaison’s, Team Managers and Coaches to maintain communicative and administrative consistency across all cheer teams. This person is basically the ‘go to’ for any personnel or parental conflicts within the cheerleading division. This person will take necessary measures to help Parent Liaison’s resolve any issues or, if necessary, escalate the matter to the Board of Directors. Conduct meetings with Parent Liaison’s as needed Provide Parent Liaison’s with up to date team rosters Provide Parent Liaison’s with Parent Volunteer and Concession Stand Sign Up Sheets Communicating with Parent Liaison’s when there is paperwork that needs to be obtained from their teams, such as registration, payments, etc. Provide support to associated Parent Liaison’s and Team Managers

Responsibilities include the following:
Act as liaison for parents for the team which you are assigned by, assisting with any questions and/or concerns that may arise. Assist coaches in contacting players for meetings, practice items, etc. if and as needed. Assign and schedule your team’s parent volunteer requirements. Work in conjunction with the Concession Director to schedule parents for concession duties. Submit parent volunteer commitments to Volunteer Directors Assist the Parent Volunteer Directors by making reminder calls to team families that are scheduled to work during your team’s game. Assist Team Managers with preparing snack bags for the week’s upcoming game, if needed Collect snack bag payments from parents Position: Team Manager Positions Open: 4 Football Teams – A, B, C, and D-Team Football Positions Open: 4 Cheer Teams - A,B,C and D Team Cheer Position Description: Team Manager responsibilities include but not limited too: Assist with distribution of uniforms before games and collection of the uniforms at the end of games, if needed. Provide team with water during the game and distribute snacks and drinks to team at the end of game. Prepare snack bags for upcoming game. Position: Concessions Directors Positions Open: 2 Positions Filled: 0 Position Description: Concessions Director responsibilities include but not limited too: Work with WSRYC Board to make sure all supplies for concession stand are purchased Oversee and keep an accurate inventory of all concession items to be updated weekly Coordinate Time Slots to fill the positions needed to set up, run and close down concessions at each home game. Distribute concession stand sign-up forms to PL Directors Provide all Concession Stand Volunteer Commitment Verification forms to Parent Volunteer Director Position: Volunteer Directors Positions Open: 2 Positions Filled: 0 Position Description: Volunteer Director responsibilities include but not limited too: Coordinate Time Slots to fill the positions needed for all events Making reminder calls to team families that are scheduled to work Collect and track all volunteer hours Provide WSYRC Board of Directors Parent Volunteer Tracking Information
